“TINK@school” – Second Transnational Project Meeting
On 6th and 7th of June the 2nd TPM meeting of the EU-funded project “Tink@school – Tinkering for sustainability at school” will take place.
Tink@school Project aims at leading teachers of primary and lower secondary schools to push pupils towards sustainable behaviours – both at school and at home – and at contributing to the reduction of global warming. Children will be both actively involved in creative experiences and stimulating – material and sensorial – activities to help them to deeply reflect on issues related to the environment and sustainability, such as reuse and recycling, happening during their everyday life and of which they are mostly unaware.
Partnership just concluded WP2 activities, which involved discovering challenges and benefits/opportunities in introducing tinkering in learning.
WP3 has been launched. The Consortium prototyped different tinkering activities in order to tackle sustainability. In the next months these activities will be finalised and tested thanks to the involvement of stakeholders.
